What does 35% tint look like?
How it looks
Clearly tinted without being dark. You can see into the car in daylight, and seeing out at night is easy.
Who picks it
The shade people ask about most for front doors, because Arizona's front-window rule is more than 33% of light through the glass and the film together. Factory glass is not perfectly clear, so the reading with film on it comes in lower than the number on the box. Ask us where your glass will land before you choose.
Is it legal in Arizona?
Arizona's front side windows have to let more than 33% of light through, measured with the film on the glass. Back side windows and the rear glass can be any shade. Read the full guide.
35% tint on real vehicles
These are jobs from Jonny's portfolio where his notes say 35% went on. The line under each photo is which glass got it. Daylight, paint color, and the camera all change how dark film looks, so use these as a guide.
