What does 20% tint look like?
How it looks
Close to the privacy glass a lot of trucks and SUVs come with, which is why it gets used so often to match front doors to the back.
Who picks it
The go-to when you want the whole vehicle to look like one even shade from front to back.
Is it legal in Arizona?
In Arizona this shade is legal on the back side windows and the rear glass, where you can go as dark as you want. Front side windows have to let more than 33% of light through, so it is too dark for the front doors of a street vehicle. Read the full guide.
20% tint on real vehicles
These are jobs from Jonny's portfolio where his notes say 20% went on. The line under each photo is which glass got it. Daylight, paint color, and the camera all change how dark film looks, so use these as a guide.
