Every tier we install is Union Window Films, and 928 Tint is the only Union Window Films dealer in Arizona. We carry the line for one reason: the quality holds up in Arizona sun.
Every film we install is backed by a Union Window Films warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. It covers bubbling, peeling, fading, color change, and delamination. It does not cover abuse, glass breakage, or improper aftercare.
Carbon film
GoodCarbon particles block infrared heat with no dyed layer, so the color holds for the life of the film. A solid tier for quad-cities daily drivers.
Ceramic film
BetterCeramic particles reject serious infrared heat and 99% of UV at any darkness, even nearly clear. The workhorse film for Arizona sun.
Nano-ceramic
BestThe premium multi-layer build with the highest heat rejection we install. For vehicles that live outside, and drivers who want the cab cold.
We do not install dyed film. It is the film you see turning purple around the quad-cities, and the film we spend our removal days stripping out. Also available: clear UV film with no darkness at all, and chameleon color-shift film.

Tint questions we get in the Quad City Area
How dark can I legally go in Arizona?
Arizona lets your back side windows and rear window go as dark as you want. Front side windows have to let more than 33% of light through, and the windshield can only be tinted above the manufacturer's AS-1 line. We install to the legal limit and explain your options before any film touches glass.
Do you serve more than Prescott and Prescott Valley?
Yes. We cover the 928 across Yavapai County: Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, Paulden, and over the hill to Camp Verde, Cottonwood, and Sedona. The shop is in Prescott Valley, and if you cannot get to it we can pick the vehicle up or do the work at your place.

What is the difference between ceramic and regular tint?
Regular dyed film darkens the glass and absorbs heat. Ceramic film rejects infrared heat and blocks 99% of UV even in lighter shades, and it does not fade purple. In Arizona sun the difference is something you feel on the first summer drive.
Do you tint homes and businesses too?
Yes. Sliding glass doors, west-facing windows, storefronts, and offices get the same heat, UV, and glare protection as a vehicle. If a room in your house is unusable every summer afternoon, that is a film job.
How much does window tint cost in Prescott?
Full vehicles run $250 to $350 in carbon film and $350 to $500 in ceramic, depending on the body style. Front twos start at $100 and a sun strip is $50. The whole sheet is on our pricing page.
Will tint affect my night driving?
A sensible shade will not. Legal front windows plus a moderate rear shade cut glare without blinding you after dark. If you drive a lot at night, say so and we will steer you to the right darkness instead of the darkest one.
When can I roll my windows down after tinting?
Keep them up for a few days while the film cures to the glass. Roll them down early and the edge can peel before the adhesive sets. We give you the exact timing for your film when you pick up the vehicle.
How long does tint take to install?
Most full vehicles are done in a few hours, in one visit to the shop. The film cures over the next several days, so you leave the windows up for a short period after install. We walk you through aftercare before you drive off.
