Heat, before the AC fights it
A west-facing wall of glass turns a Prescott living room into an oven every summer afternoon. Film rejects that heat at the window, which is the only place you can stop it without blackout curtains.
Fading floors and furniture
Arizona UV bleaches wood floors, couches, art, and rugs a little more every day the sun crosses them. Quality film blocks 99% of UV without making the room dark.
Glare and privacy
Cut the glare off a TV or a monitor without giving up the view, and add daytime privacy on street-facing glass without living behind closed blinds.

Ceramic vs Carbon Window Tint in Arizona
The two films we actually install, what heat rejection really means, and how to pick the right tier for how your vehicle lives in Arizona sun.
Why Tint Matters More at a Mile High
Prescott sits around 5,400 feet, and UV climbs with elevation. What that does to your dash, your seats, and your left arm, and what film stops.

Home window film questions from the 928
Will window film make my house dark?
Not unless you want it to. Modern films come in shades from nearly clear on up, and the heat and UV rejection comes from the film's construction, not its darkness. Plenty of homes get a light film you barely notice.
Does film work on sliding glass doors?
Sliding doors are usually the best candidate in the whole house: big, west- or south-facing, and right where you feel the heat. It is the first glass we look at on most homes.
Do I have to do the whole house?
No. Plenty of jobs are one slider, one room, or just the west side. Tell us which glass gets the sun and we price that.
Do you come to the house?
Yes. Home window film is always installed on site, anywhere in Yavapai County. Send a photo of the windows with the quote form and we can usually price it before the visit.
