The shades on this job

5% tint (limo tint)
The darkest shade most shops carry. Only about 5% of visible light gets through, so from outside the glass reads black and you cannot see in during the day.
15% tint (dark)
Dark, but not blacked out. In daylight you can make out shapes inside if you look for them. From across a parking lot the glass still reads black.

In Arizona the back side windows and rear glass can be any shade. Front side windows have to let more than 33% of light through.

Reading the notes

Sun strip
Also called a visor strip or brow: a band of film across the top of the windshield that blocks the low sun a visor misses.
Over factory privacy glass
Privacy glass is dyed glass: dark, but weak at stopping heat. Film goes on top of it, which is why the finished glass reads darker than the number on the film.
Rear half
Every window behind the front doors, plus the back glass. On a pickup that is the rear doors and the rear window.
Metered reading
The light actually getting through the finished glass, measured with a tint meter. It comes in lower than the film's number because the glass itself is not perfectly clear.
C-IR
Ceramic infrared film: a ceramic film built to reject the infrared part of sunlight, which is the part you feel as heat.
