Shop or Mobile: How a Tint Appointment Works
928 Tint has a shop at 8733 E Laredo Dr in Prescott Valley, and that is where most vehicles get done. If you cannot get to the shop, we can pick the vehicle up or do the work at your place. Here is how both work, from first text to cured film.
Step 1: the quote
Send the quote form with your vehicle, the service, and your city, or call (928) 447-8698. A photo helps us price it right the first time. You get one number back from the price sheet. If we miss your call because we are mid-install, the text-back catches you within the minute.
Step 2: the booking
We run by appointment, not walk-ins, so nobody waits behind another job. You pick a time, we confirm it, and you bring the vehicle to the shop. Prescott Valley sits in the middle of the quad-cities, so it is a short drive from Prescott, Chino Valley, or Dewey-Humboldt. Coming from the Verde Valley? Most people pair it with a trip over the hill.
Step 3: install day at the shop
The vehicle comes into our enclosed bay, out of the wind and dust. Glass gets cleaned and prepped, film gets cut to your windows, and the edges get finished tight, which is the part you notice a year later. Most full vehicles take a few hours; removals add time depending on how the old adhesive fights. Drop it off and get on with your day, and we will call when it is done.
When pickup or mobile service makes sense
If the only problem is getting the vehicle to us, we can pick it up and bring it back done. Some glass cannot come to a shop, and some schedules cannot spare the trip. That is what mobile service is for: a fleet at the yard, a rig that is not street legal, a place out past Paulden, or a day you cannot be without the vehicle. A driveway, a garage, a carport, or a parking spot at work all do the job. Sliders and storefronts for homes and businesses are always done on site.
One honest limitation: on a mobile job, weather is a teammate. On a day the wind or rain wins, we reschedule instead of rushing a bad install. The film goes on once and it goes on right.
What mobile costs
The service price is the same sheet price. A travel charge can apply based on distance, and it is built into the quote before you say yes, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
After the install
Film cures to glass over the next few days. Windows stay up during that stretch, and some haze or tiny moisture pockets while it dries are normal and disappear on their own. We walk through aftercare before you go: ammonia-free cleaner, soft microfiber, nothing abrasive. Then the film just quietly does its job for years.
Book it
Tell us the vehicle and what you want done: the quote form takes two minutes and the price comes back straight. If you need a pickup or want the work done at your place, say so on the form.
