Replacement windshield tinted in 50% ceramic, from Yavapai County's 928 Tint
From Jonny's portfolio. His install, his photos.
What went on the glass
- This awesome customer had us tint her previous windshield and it was broken from rocks, called us out and we tinted her new windshield in a 50% C-IR for a nice subtle look and amazing heat and glare reduction
The notes are Jonny's own from the day of the job. Want the same look? See what tint costs and check the Arizona tint law guide before you pick a shade for your front windows.

The shades on this job
- 50% tint (light)
- A light smoke. Most people would not call the glass tinted at a glance, but the glare drops as soon as you sit inside.
In Arizona the back side windows and rear glass can be any shade. Front side windows have to let more than 33% of light through.
Reading the notes
- Full windshield
- Film over the whole windshield, usually a light shade picked for heat rather than looks. Arizona only allows windshield tint above the AS-1 line, so ask before you copy this one.
- C-IR
- Ceramic infrared film: a ceramic film built to reject the infrared part of sunlight, which is the part you feel as heat.
